(GBCI). Platinum is the highest rating, demonstrating global leadership extraordinary commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and human well-being.

To support the eco-friendly framework green cleaning products and strict hygiene are practiced.

The hospital has also introduced advanced water metering, policies for no-smoking, renovation practices and responsible purchasing policies, and is soon set to meet a large part of its energy needs with rooftop solar. A standout initiative is its collaboration with Tata Power Trading Company Ltd. to install a smart energy optimization system.

By using real-time data and predictive modelling, the system helps reduce energy consumption that contributes to keeping high standards of air quality and comfort for patients.

Sustainability has long been integral to our long-term vision, and the recognition reaffirms that we are going in the right direction. For us, care for patients and care for the environment go together, and we feel proud to be one among a few hospitals in India to have reached this milestone. This journey is our commitment not only to those who come through our doors, but to the greater community and future generations as well. We will keep innovating, embracing cleaner technologies, and raising the bar on what healthcare can do when led by compassion and consciousness.” Dr. Sameer Kulkarni, CEO, Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital, Powai.
