Another green building achievement by RUA Ecospaces

We’re proud to announce that Bul-Bul CHS Ltd., a redevelopment project in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, has been awarded the ASSOCHAM GEM 5-Star (Platinum) rating. The certificate was issued in September 2026. It shows that a housing society redevelopment can meet high sustainability standards and still deliver comfortable, modern homes. RUA Ecospaces served as the Green Building Consultant on the project.

–  92.13% native, adaptive and drought-tolerant planting
–  30 saplings planted as compensatory plantation for trees removed
–  Urban gardening provision built into the terrace design
–  85 kWp off-site solar PV installed, offsetting more than 5% of contract demand
–  Motion-sensor-based dimmable LED lighting in common areas
–  EV charging points for two-wheelers and four-wheelers
–  More than 80% of occupied areas designed to meet daylighting requirements
–  Natural ventilation through operable windows
–  Rainwater harvesting and recharge integrated into the project
–  100% filtered rainwater used for flushing and landscaping
–  Low-flow water fixtures to reduce potable water demand
–  Recycled-content materials, including glass, TMT steel and tiles
–  AAC blocks and PPC cement to reduce resource consumption
–  Locally sourced construction materials to reduce transportation impacts
–  Universal accessibility features, including ramps, handrails, audio/Braille-enabled lifts and accessible facilities
–  15th-floor resident amenities, including a gym, common hall, first-aid facility and game zone
