RUA Ecospaces Conducts Knowledge Series Webinar on Fresh Air Ventilation & Indoor Environmental Quality

Date: 12th March, 2026.

RUA Ecospaces LLP recently conducted an online Knowledge Series webinar titled “Breathe Better Indoors: Fresh Air Ventilation & Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Explained.” The session focused on raising awareness about the critical role of fresh air ventilation, indoor air quality, and healthy building design in modern built environments.

With people spending nearly 90% of their time indoors, the quality of indoor air has a significant impact on health, comfort, productivity, and overall well-being. The webinar explored how sustainable design strategies, HVAC systems, and smart monitoring technologies can help create healthier indoor environments in residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.

The session opened with an overview by Dr. Roshni Udyavar Yehuda, CEO of RUA Ecospaces LLP, who highlighted the growing importance of Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) in sustainable building design. She emphasized that green building practices today must go beyond energy efficiency and also address occupant health, ventilation performance, and indoor comfort.

The webinar featured expert insights from professionals working in HVAC engineering, ventilation system design, and indoor air quality technologies.

Gautham Baliga, Director at OPAL HVAC Engineers Pvt. Ltd., shared valuable insights on fresh air ventilation strategies, HVAC system design, and best practices for maintaining healthy indoor air quality in buildings. His session focused on how properly designed ventilation systems play a vital role in balancing energy efficiency with occupant health.

Vyomesh Mehta, Chief Engineer at Aura Engineering Solutions, presented practical perspectives on implementing fresh air systems and ventilation solutions in real-world projects. He also discussed innovative approaches such as decentralized fresh air units and heat recovery systems that improve indoor air quality while reducing energy consumption.

The final session was delivered by Abhinav Gupta, Founder and CEO of Breethr, who highlighted the role of technology-driven indoor air quality monitoring systems. He discussed how smart sensors, real-time data, and automated ventilation controls can help buildings track and improve indoor air conditions.

The webinar concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where participants interacted with the speakers and discussed common challenges related to ventilation design, indoor air pollution, and improving air quality in existing buildings.

The Knowledge Series webinar saw enthusiastic participation from architects, engineers, sustainability professionals, students, and building owners interested in creating healthier and more sustainable indoor environments.

Through initiatives like the Knowledge Series, RUA Ecospaces LLP continues to promote awareness and knowledge sharing on sustainable architecture, green building strategies, indoor environmental quality, and healthy building design.
